The gal behind the lens.....

Hello! I'm Shannon and this is a little info. about me! I'm a daughter, sister, mother, and widow who loves (and maybe even addicted to) lipstick and nailpolish. No matter what anyone says, there is no such thing as having too many shades/colors! lol. I love photography and always have. I remember getting a little red camera from Santa; from there my passion was born. I love pizza, icecream, fairytales, hearing my little ones' laughing, red is my fav color - so is pink, I'm sometimes goofy and I have blonde moments too! lol. I enjoy photographing everything around me - the evening Sun hitting the horizon, the waves of the ocean, the water rushing over the sand, the belly of the mommy to be, the giggling baby, the sweet toes of a newborn and the first kiss the bride and groom share as Mr. & Mrs. These are moments and emotions that I capture for you - I love telling your story with my photography! I wouldn't be who I am today without the direction of God and the love & support of my friends and family! Thank you so much for always believing in me. =) Some say "a picture is worth a thousand words" ...... I say they're priceless! ~XOXXO~ Shannon Wermers "Capturing Priceless Memories That Last a Lifetime"

Cans for Comments! – || Pensacola Portrait Photographer ||

Posted on November 23, 2009

Hello everyone!

The month of November is all about (one my birthday! ahhahaa) but on a MUCH more serious note: it’s about giving thanks and helping others. Last year a bunch of fabulous photographers got together and decided to give a can of food – to a local food drive, shelter, church or wherever there was a need for food, away for every comment made on ANY of their blog posts! I thought “WOW! How absolutely wonderful is that?!” So, I joined in on the ‘Cans for Comments’.

2009 is our second annual CANS FOR COMMENTS!! Woooohooo!!!! So please leave a comment from now until Dec. 20, 2009 on this or any of the posts! The more comments = the more food that will be given! It’s a beautiful thing don’t you think?!

So Please please please post a comment! Tell your friends, relatives, neighbors, grandma’s bridge buddies and their mother to leave a comment. Together WE ‘can’ (hehe) make a difference!!!!

Please Pass it along and or Pay it forward!!
